Custom Plus tanning lamps are a moderatly hotter version of our bronzing lamps, with a 6.5% UVB ratio, the most popular for replacement lamps.   Designed in the SunMaster Custom Shop, they are a popular lamp for home tanning beds as well as lower traffic tanning salons.  They have an average rated lifespan of about 800 hours, which comes out to about 5 years at home or one year at a medium traffic salon.

These tanning lamps are similar to the Pro Plus lamp but without the extended life components and a simpler phosphor blend to make them more affordable.  The performance compares well to OEM lamps costing $20 or more.

The Custom Plus tanning lamps are perfect for serious tanners who want a step up from the original lamps in their 20 minute tanning bed, but don't want to sacrifice bronzing action.
